A lesson from Abraham's family
Abraham had no children until he was 85 years old. Before he left the world, he had to decide who would be his heir th inherit his property,
but since he had no children, he could not help but be worried and distressed.
So, Abraham made up his mind to adopt Eliezer, a faithful servant in his household, as his heir to inherit his estate.
Ge 15"2~5 『But Abram said,
"O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?"
And Abram said, "You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir."Then the word of the LORD came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir."…』
God said to Abraham, "This man will not be your heir."
